Mercantour National Park
Le Boréon is located at 1500m on the border of the Mercantour National Park, within the commune of Saint Martin Vésubie. Known as Nice’s Switzerland, the area is perfect for exploring on horseback. With altitudes from 1500m to 3000m there is a wealth of flora and fauna.

Rides in Sainte Agnès – October to June
Sainte Agnès is just 12km from the Med at Menton and forty minutes from the airport at Nice.
The start point is from one of the most beautiful villages in France, and from there the circuits on horseback explore the glorious flora and fauna of the Riviera back country.
Two hour, half day and full day rides with stunning views overlooking the Med.
Trail rides from two to five days in the Riviera back country and across the border to the Italian National Park.
Transhumance
This traditional movement of stock takes place at the beginning and end of the summer season.
On either the north bound or south bound route, riders are guaranteed to experience the joys of cross country riding in some of the most lovely Alpine scenery there is.
